This policy explains what Sentinel collects, how it is used, and how retention and access are handled. The format is intentionally plain and copy-friendly for internal reference.
01.Information We Collect
Sentinel collects account identifiers, workspace settings, module records, and operational log data required to provide the service.
- Authentication profile data from Discord (for sign-in and account identity).
- Server workspace configuration and permission assignments.
- Operational records such as moderation actions, command logs, and alert history.
02.How Data Is Used
Data is used to authenticate users, enforce access permissions, operate modules, and maintain service reliability.
Operational metadata may be used to investigate incidents, improve performance, and support abuse prevention.
03.Retention Controls
Dashboard owners and admins control module retention settings (such as 30-day or 90-day operational windows where supported).
Certain security and platform integrity logs may be retained longer where required for abuse detection, legal obligations, or incident response.
04.Sharing and Disclosure
Sentinel does not sell user or workspace data.
Data may only be disclosed when required for legal compliance, abuse/security investigation, or requested third-party integrations you configure.
05.Security Practices
Sentinel applies role-based controls, session protections, and credential safeguards to reduce unauthorized access risk.
Security controls are periodically updated as platform features and risk profiles evolve.
06.User Rights and Requests
Authorized administrators may request export or deletion of workspace data, subject to legal, contractual, or security retention constraints.
Where applicable, users may request correction of inaccurate account profile details.
07.Children's Privacy
Sentinel is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age.
08.Policy Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect operational, legal, or security requirements. Updates are effective when posted on this page.
